Was just reading today about Suryavarman n the peculiar political scenario of those times between him and China and the Chola empire!

Need to do some reading on sculptures...

Enjoyyy the mekong...and watch out for those stray tunnel rats...:)

didn't get to see much of mekong but minbogglingly felt at home. what an eerie feeling to reach a place so far and feel as if my ancestral home must be just round the corner.

And the temples...huge and crumbling. Ruins... massive and littering a huge area. Step anywhere and you might be stepping on a Vishnu or Shiva. :)

I don't know why more Indians don't get here. the only other Indian family on the plane happened to be Gujju. :)
